A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT : 2010
The Saskatchewan Economic Development Association has been expanding its staff and services over the last five years. We are pleased to be a catalyst for economic development in the province and continually strive to meet the growing needs of economic development professionals and organizations.
The Board of Directors draws representation from a broad base of economic development expertise and experience including representation from Enterprise Regions, Community Futures Development Corporations, Community Economic Development Officers and Technology and Commercialization specialists. Ex Officio representation is provided by First Nations and Métis Relations, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and Enterprise Saskatchewan.
SEDA continually strives to enhance economic and community development networks throughout the province via core programs and services as well as special projects. We anticipate that 2010 will yield new opportunities to grow the economic capacity of our communities and regions. We look forward to engaging with our stake-holders as the year unfolds.
I look forward to serving as the SEDA President for 2010 and working to enhance our value proposition to our members, partners and the province at large.
