Information Highway Branch Forum Presentation
On March 14, 2007, the Information Highway Branch of Industry Canada held Strategic Advisory Forum sessions in Winnipeg to continue discussions about how to turn our investments in connectivity into competitive advantage by developing horizontal strategies.
This year's discussions attracted stakeholders from, industry and community based organizations (including SEDA) and built upon research by the University of Calgary, particularly the link between community ICT capacity and business profitability and productivity.
Below is a forum presentation by Ray Bollman of Statistics Canada on Rural Canada: Driver and Riders outlines technology, prices and demography implications for the prairie provinces.
