OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM OFFERINGS
SEDA first developed and introduced training workshops in 1996 to further leadership and skills development within industry volunteers and professionals. Delivery of educational modules and workshops has been steadily enhanced to meet the growing needs of the market and now includes the following:
- Modules I to IV - Introduction to Economic Development for Western Canadian Communities
- Project Development WORKSHOP
- Business & Investment Attraction: Are You Ready? WORKSHOP
- Business Retention & Expansion WORKSHOP
Covering key topics as well as specialized issues, the Saskatchewan Economic Development Association has designed educational offerings to provide a local and regional perspective on community economic development. Facilitators are active development practitioners who bring real life experiences, best practices, and tools that participants can take back to their communities.
In addition to our own training programs, SEDA partners with agencies and educational service providers to ensure our members have access to professional development programs that will enhance their ability to support Saskatchewan communities and regions.
